Jim Blood's idyllic life sailing with his wife, Valerie, is on the brink of disaster. Their finances, much like their sails, are in tatters. An unexpected opportunity to resolve a contractual conflict on a prestigious project in Africa seems like a godsend. However, Jim becomes innocently entangled in a dark web of extreme criminal activities that could cost him far more than just money—it could cost him his life. Fatima, a middle-aged woman from a remote village in Yemen, has faced a lifetime of misfortune and abuse. The only thing she cherishes is her son, but catastrophe lurks nearby. She feels both worried and angry—yet is she truly helpless? As events unfold, and their goals entwine, the opportinity to succeed could be partly due to questions of superstition and faith playing part in their redemption.
